Explore some ways that science is helping our community in the fight against climate change through games, crafts, and experimentation!
Biodiversity, or the variety of life on earth, is essential to our lives and our planet, yet many species are at risk due to the impacts of climate change. Let’s learn about why biodiversity is important to protect and how this variety of life on earth can help us solve our most pressing challenges. First, we’ll explore the oat woodland that surrounds the Environmental Discovery Center and see what inspires us, and then use nature as our inspiration for a creative technology design project, where we will construct our own climate solution out of a variety of materials.
